Wearing Masks Protects Everybody
The cost of attending an event shouldn't be someone else's life.
For the survival of our communities and the longevity of our movements, requiring masks at events is critical. In this moment of mass Covid minimization, normalization, and denial, we must loudly, defiantly, and militantly protect each other.
Universal masking with well-fitting, high filtration masks must be not just the gold standard for organizers, but the absolute bare minimum for keeping our communities safe.
This quarter sheet flyer is a resource for organizers hosting masks required events, intended to be passed out along with free respirators!
"We ask you to wear this [K]N95 mask for the entirety of our event," the back of the flyer reads, explaining three key reasons why organizers ask for masks to be worn:
We are all vulnerable to Covid and Long Covid.
We don’t want to this event to kill or disable anyone. When everybody wears a [K]N95 mask, we prevent the spread of Covid.
Masking is our collective commitment and responsibility.
