In our time working together, Rimona supported our company in integral ways. As a creative director, their expertise in both written and visual realms makes them a sure success no matter the company or campaign. They blew clients away with the finely-tuned details of their brand guides, their ability to work within the constraints of budget and vision, and their immaculate workflow in support of robust brand strategies.

Simply put, Rimona has a rare blend of skillsets. They're an invaluable addition to any creative team.

-Erik Croswell, Founder and Director, Bridge City Media

  • I cannot recommend working with Rimona enough.

They were prompt, understood and respected our vision for our project. They are incredibly professional and talented. We could not be more thrilled with the final product and will be using Mo again for future projects!

-Morgan Grover, Development Associate, Call to Safety

  • Rimona is an incredibly talented graphic designer who possesses an unparalleled creative vision and a keen eye for detail.

I had the pleasure of working with Rimona to develop our company’s first brand guide. From the moment we engaged in our initial discussions, it was evident that Rimona deeply understood my project's objectives and was passionate about delivering outstanding results. They would ask thoughtful questions to ensure they fully grasped the essence of my vision and pushed me to deepen my understanding of my own brand.

Throughout the design process, Rimona demonstrated their expertise by consistently delivering high-quality work that exceeded my expectations. Their ability to transform my abstract concepts into visually captivating designs was truly impressive. They skillfully combined colors, typography, and imagery to create a cohesive and compelling visual identity for our company’s brand. Their attention to detail was evident in every project deliverable, ensuring pixel-perfect precision and seamless integration across various platforms and media.

I wholeheartedly recommend Rimona to anyone in need of a talented graphic designer who can bring their creative visions to life. Their exceptional skills, unwavering dedication, and genuine passion for design make them an invaluable asset to any project.

  • I feel certain that working with Rimona was an critical part of being hired for my first arts administration job.

I asked Rimona for their feedback on my cover letter and resume because of their writing experience and knowledge about navigating the professional sphere. Rimona was collaborative, imaginative and helped me craft an elevated and engaging cover letter. Reading back my own cover letter after their edits helped build my own confidence in how to present myself in my job search.

I would highly recommend any emerging young professional, particularly those in the arts or non profit sphere, to reach out to Rimona for their expertise and guidance.

  • Thank you, Mo, for creating a logo that really captured the essence of my brand and identity as an artist.

I am grateful to see my Armenian ancestry showcased with Armenian lettering in my logo, and the wheel of eternity. The eye-catching colors and nostalgic feel of 90s Armenian branding with a modern twist is beyond what I could even imagine. As a diasporan artist whose Armenian father and his father owned businesses, the logo gives me a sense of pride in my business and my family's history of working class, small business owners. I am so in love with the identity you helped create my vision and brand as an artist. Thank you Mo jan! Your talent and skill are gifts to our communities!

    -Tash (Թաշ), Business Owner, Tash

  • Rimona enthusiastically engaged each student with curiosity, which gave us the confidence to play with the materials.

I’d never made a papercut illustration prior to taking Rimona’s class at the Independent Publishing Resource Center. And to be honest, I was a little reluctant. At the beginning of class, Mo gave us each a pair of scissors and a small piece of colored paper to shape as we pleased, then asked us to partner with someone we didn’t know and paste our cut-outs together. The two of us buddied up with another pair of students. Our new foursome found another foursome. And before we knew it, the whole class had built a beautiful paper sculpture and a comfortable community. It was a great warm-up for creating our illustrations.

Time flew as we chatted and worked. I love the papaercut illustration I made, and even more, the creative process Mo guided us through. As a longtime (and now retired) teacher, I appreciate all the planning, the variety of materials, and the initial setup Mo did to design a creative space.

-Jane Meininger, Retired Elementary Educator, North Clackamas School District

  • I had the pleasure of working with Rimona, and I couldn't be more impressed with their work!

They talked our project through with us and brought it to life in a way that was so exciting to see. Communication was smooth and timely throughout the process, and they were always open to feedback and willing to make adjustments. I highly recommend Mo to anyone looking for top-notch design work.

-Elizabeth Held, Interim President, Portland Federation of School Professionals (AFT Local 111)

  • Rimona truly exemplified what it means to be a creative, student-centered, and dynamic instructor.

I had the pleasure of working with Rimona during Saturday Academy’s 2024 summer camps, where they served as a Lead Educator. Over the summer, they led full-day, weeklong camps for students in grades 3–8 at the University of Portland campus. They designed and facilitated the curriculum for each camp, which consistently stood out for its thoughtful structure, clear learning goals, and hands-on, interdisciplinary activities that integrated a clever blend of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

The classes Mo led struck an expert balance between academic rigor, creativity, and play, making complex concepts both accessible and exciting. Students made their own paper, created zines, and explored scientific principles through art and local ecology. Several campers even shared with me that Mo’s camps were the highlight of their summer.

What I appreciate most about Mo’s approach as an educator is their attentiveness to each student’s learning journey. They were incredibly thoughtful in adapting their curriculum in real time to support a wide range of learning styles, interests, and developmental stages. Their ability to establish engaging learning pathways while maintaining academic cohesion throughout the week is a rare and valuable skill.

I especially applaud how Mo encouraged students to explore, create, and take ownership of their learning—an approach that not only deepened students’ understanding of STEAM topics, but also sparked genuine curiosity, confidence, and joy through hands-on discovery.

It was truly a pleasure to work with Mo last year, and I hope they continue to have opportunities to lead creatively. They are skilled across the board—from curriculum design to classroom management to collaboration with co-teachers and support staff—and would be an asset to any educational program or organization that values innovation, inclusivity, and experiential learning. I highly recommend Mo and am excited to see where their talents take them next.

-Allison Beebe, Youth Programs Manager, Saturday Academy
